Damian Lockley ICIOB set up Lockley Surveying in 2006 while working for a general practice chartered surveyor in Essex, and after leaving Anglia  Ruskin University with a degree in Building Surveying. This business was intended for private existing clients from his successful business Lockley Building. This service has now been extended to the general public.

Architectural Design Service

The aim is to produce work in relation to your brief and within the guidelines of the local authority, realising the restraints of your budget and time. Work is completed primarily on a first-come, first-served basis.

 We like to give other clients the best of other time equally on their individual projects.  The business works closely with the local authority to ensure  that the relevant permissions can be obtained.  We will assist you with your project requirements throughout.

We do ask for all clients to prepare a brief to help them realise what they require and this helps me to design the building or extension of your dreams. Please see the tab 'Producing A Brief' at the top of the page.  

For the more computer literate We offer an email service whereby you can view plans by email using a free programme which can be downloaded from the Internet using http://ftp2.infograph.com/dl/freedwgviewer.exe   This system speeds up the design process stage.

Building Surveying Service

Survey and inspect buildings and communicate a building's repair requirements in non technical terms to enable clients to appreciate the building repair requirements, corresponding with the client's Brief.

Site Management Service

As projects become increasingly complex and require higher levels of co-ordination Lockley Surveying is able to offer Project Management expertise for a variety of projects. We can tailor our role to suit the needs of the individual client whether they are developer or end user, offering a comprehensive package whatever your needs.
