Architectural Design Fees

In preparing the plan drawings for planning and building regulations purposes the charges are based upon:

• £50.00 per hour to draw the plans

• £50.00 per Site visit

• £20.00 Council Application Forms per set of forms

• £5.00 per letter sent

• £2.00 per A1 copy

• £20.00 to obtain a digital site plan as required by the local authority

• £20.00 for a Design and Access Statement which is required for all New Dwellings, Listed Building & applications in a Conservation Area

• £100.00 per hour for Party Wall work

Payment will be due when the plans are ready to submit to the local authority, and an invoice will be sent to you as a Cost of Works Completed to Date.

Building Surveys

The fee for Building surveys is related to the Age, Type, Location & Clients requirements. As a guide:

·        To visit site & carry out a Building Survey on typical 3/4 bedroom dwelling the Fee is about £550.00. This is based on a house over 30 years old and with noticeable defects.

·        To visit site & carry out a Condition Survey on typical 3/4 bedroom dwelling the Fee is about £375.00. This is based on a modern house without noticeable defects.

Payment

Payment will be due when a copy of the report has been sent to the relevant parties. An  invoice will be sent to you with the report.

Project Management

The fee for Project management is based on the size, location, & the amount of time the surveyor spends on site and as to the client requirements.

• To visit site, answer technical queries, inspect works, the fee is about £45.00 per hour depending on location.

Payment
